From us

We are a riding school at Kalajoki sand dunes. We offer riding school services and various adventure horseback riding tours, both in the countryside and by the sea, year-round.

We offer a wide range of courses and themed days, which can also be booked for private groups. We also provide horse handling and horsemanship lessons/courses. Starting in summer 2023, we will also offer camp programs.

Our horses and ponies are well-trained, and each horse has its own unique characteristics, so there is definitely a suitable horse for everyone. Fair treatment of our horses is very important to us.

Please remember to take care of your own insurance, as the stable does not insure riders.

We also rent our riding hall to external riders. You can find available slots for booking here on Hopoti.

Riding lessons

We offer riding lessons weekly throughout the year, with groups for both children and adults. Whenever the weather permits, we ride outdoors, otherwise, we use our bright indoor arena with an insulated roof, which keeps it warmer than outside, even in winter. Riding lessons also take place in the countryside or by the sea, so our riders get to enjoy a variety of experiences. The lessons are led by riding instructor Krista Sumén.
